ABOUT
Kiki and Zuki brings a beautiful blend of shadow puppetry, performance and storytelling to kids and families.
Kiki, a dreamer from the Moon, and Zuki, a curious Earthling, embark on a journey of friendship, understanding, connection and resilience.
Kiki and Zuki was inspired by the artists’ personal migrant experience of navigating two cultures in Australia. As artists, they have always been fascinated by the challenges understanding new cultures while staying true to their own. Shadow puppetry allows them to explore these themes in a visually and emotionally captivating way.

Kiki and Zuki was assisted by the Melaka Festival 2024 (Tony Yap) with an in-kind performance space at Baboon House in Melaka, Malaysia. The show was conceived, developed, and presented in 2024 with support from the Banyule City Council’s Arts and Culture program team.
